Benny Lee Sanchez

October 4, 1976 — May 16, 2010

Benny Lee Sanchez, 33, of Farmington, died tragically Sunday, May 16, 2010 at San Juan Regional Medical Center. He was born in Farmington to Benny and Eileen Sanchez. Ben was the beautiful baby boy they were hoping for. He has many friends and relatives who love him very much and will miss him deeply. He was an angel with broken wings on this earth and struggled at times to make this life a happy place. He found happiness in his daughters, music, cars, family and friends. Ben will no longer walk this earth feeling alone, he will walk with God and find the inner peace and happiness he has always longed for. Ben is survived by his parents, who supported and loved Ben to no end, his sister, April Dwinell, who nagged him and rode him constantly but loved him unconditionally, his four beautiful daughters, Alexus, Jasmine, Destiny and Aisha, who never gave up on their dad and loved him more than life itself, brother-in-law, Jason Dwinell, nephews Levi and Tristan, his Aunt Fina, and cousins Ruthie and Al who prayed and stood behind him till the end. Ben had countless friends and co-workers who would do anything for him. He found peace in hanging out with Michael Davis, his best friend since they were old enought to walk. Ben's happiness begins now as he rests in peace, no longer having broken wings. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. May 19th at Sacred Heart Church in Farmington. A remembrance mass will be held May 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church and a luncheon immediately following in the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up by Anita Choat and other softball and football friends of April's, at Four Corners Community Bank in the name of Ben L. Sanchez.
