Berlinda Elizabeth Vasquez

Berlinda Elizabeth Vasquez passed away peacefully in her home with her loving family on April 8^th, 2023.

She was born in Cerro, New Mexico on October 20th,1941 to Jose Fidel and Maclovia Quintana.

She raised her children with love and devotion in Albuquerque New Mexico with her husband of 58 years.

Berlinda will be greatly missed as she was known for her beautiful smile, wonderful cooking (especially her red chile), and caring nature. She always looked forward to getting together with family and friends and loved to dance. She was most proud of her grandchildren and all their accomplishments.

She is survived by her husband Eloy Vasquez, her son, Eric Vasquez and his children, Nicholas Vasquez, his wife Amanda, Kieriona Carmoega, and her husband Manny. She is also survived by her daughter Melissa Valencia, her husband Anthony Valencia and their children Gavin and Miranda Valencia along with her niece Shirley Pacheco and her husband Luciano, her sisters Lorraine Lujan and Mary Ann Cortez her husband Raymond, and many other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at The Shrine of Saint Bernadette [11509 Indian School Rd NE, ABQ, NM 87112] on Monday, April 24, 2023 starting at 9:30 am for the Rosary followed by the mass at 10:00 am. The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery thereafter [7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, ABQ, NM 87109].
