Duran, Bernave
Age 83, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on November 10, 1935, to Juan Duran and Rosa Vigil.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Esther Baca, Frank Quintana, and Stella Avila.
Bernave is survived by wife, Priscilla Duran of Albuquerque, NM; son, Bernie (Heather) Duran; three grandchildren, Natalia, Gabriel, and Lilliana Duran, all of Jacksonville, FL; siblings, Joe Duran of Denver, CO, Eursenia (Joan Becker) Duran of Garden City, KS, Juan Thomas Duran of Denver, CO, Flora (Jose) Montoya of Lamar, CO, Maggie (Mac) Campos of Lamar, CO, Alice (Mike) Navarette of Lamar, CO, Irene (Joe) Gonzales of Lamar, CO, and David Duran of Bristol, CO; brother-in-law, Margarito Baca of Bristol, CO; and sister-in-law, Pauline Quintana of Denver, CO. He also leaves many cherished family members and friends, too numerous to name, but all loved the same.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, 8:30 a.m., with Mass to follow in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE. Interment will be held in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, 11:00 a.m., with Reception to follow back in St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Friends are welcome to bring food and refreshments to the Reception.
