FARMINGTON Bessie Lee Green March 2, 1921 - June 22, 2011 Bessie Lee Green, 90, of Farmington, was reunited with her late husband, W.B. "Pete" Green, on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, in Farmington. She was born March 2, 1921, in Red Field, Ark., to John C. and Rosa Mae Evans. Bessie enjoyed spending time with her sweetheart, Pete. Together they enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. They were known for being snowbirds in Arizona. Bessie knew that what Pete needed most was her unconditional love and a good meal. She was the best cook and she could bake with the best of them. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Johnny Green; and daughters, Betty (Cox) Grenko and Jan Holmes. She is survived by her son, Fred (Dolores) Green; brother, Harold Evans; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family, but they are assured that Bessie and Pete are already together and smiling down on us all. A luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 27, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Tim Green, Michael Green, Bill Mobley, Austin Smith, Wesley Smith and Greg Holmes.
