Betty Saltero

Betty Saltero, age 91, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM.  She was born in La Junta, CO on October 29, 1931 to Mateo Gonzales and Patricia Mediano.  She was married to Ramon C. Carrillo.  She was a homemaker of her own home.  Betty enjoyed singing, gardening, cleaning, reading and being outdoors.  She was a member of Legacy Church Albuquerque.  She was also a member of the Catholic Church Choir, Women's Bible Study Group, and Mixed Bible Study Group.  She cleaned the Catholic Church for many years.  She supported Wounded Warriors, St. Judes, International Fellowship of Christian Jews and Food Pantries.

She was preceded in death by her children, Ramon Carrillo, Deonella (Leo) Patterson, Bernidino Lucero, Patrick Carrillo, and Michael Carrillo.

Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Hopie Carrillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 13 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Interment will follow at 1:15 pm, Fairview Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
