Beverly Ann Fifer, 82, went to be with the Lord August 27, 2015 surrounded by family. She was born September 7, 1932 in Oswego, IN to Merritt and Eva Hartman on her paternal grandparents’ farm. Beverly is survived by her sister, Marcia Stokes (Stan); brother, Allen Hartman (Lynn); son, Michael (Robin); granddaughter, Jamie Ashton (Tyler), and six great grandchildren who thought she was the best cook ever. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years H. Gene Fifer. Beverly has requested no services. In Beverly’s words, she and Gene “had a wonderful marriage and a great life.” We will dearly miss her Sunday dinners, her love, and her sense of humor. No public services have been scheduled.
