Funeral Services for Billie H. Willie, 78, of Standing Rock, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at the Bible Baptist Shepherd, Standing Rock, New Mexico with burial following on family land in Standing Rock, New Mexico Mr. Willie was born January 4,1932 in Coyote Canyon, He died April 9, 2010 In Standing Rock, New Mexico. Mr. Willie was a veteran with the US Navy, a graduate from Wingate High School. He did native American craftwork beading, silversmithing and made Musical native instruments. Survivors include five brothers: David, Charlie, Glen, Emerson and Harrison Willie. Nine sisters: Hilda Willie, Margaret Begay, Mary Begay, Alice Nez, Marjorie Elwood, Etheline, Janice Willie and Matilda Willie. Mr. Willie was born of the Meadow People clan for the Talk in the Blanket People Pallbearers are Emery Willie, Ned Willie Jr., Murray Willie, Jerome Elwood, Justin Elwood and Wayne Muskett.
