Bobbie Jo Amador

Bobbie Jo Amador died in Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 3, 2023 at the age of 80.

Bobbie Jo is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Aguilar, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Phyllis Quintana, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Her sons, John Jaramillo, of Moriarty, New Mexico, Timothy Jaramillo, of Phoenix, Arizona. Bobbie Jo had 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Salle B. Ramsour “Granny” and her daughter Patricia Pam.

Bobbie Jo was born on July 11, 1942 in Tyler, Texas to J.B. Ramsour and Sally Beth Jones. She graduated from Quemado High in 1968.

Bobbie Jo worked at The Big Chief aka Murphy’s Mule Barn in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 20 years and worked at Vicks Vittles on Kirtland Airforce Base for 15 years, and Safie.

Bobbie Jo enjoyed going to Bingo, and the casino. Bobbie was a wonderful baker and cake decorator of which she shared with many business, friends and family throughout her lifetime. She decorated for many local bakers in town.

She was active in the Alter Society at St. Peters Church. Before 1974, she loved going to Our Lady of Assumption.

Bobbie Jo was a fighter. She was a survivor of breast cancer. She was loved by many and will be missed deeply.

A Rosary will be recited on January 11, 2023 beginning at 10:00am at Our Lady of Assumption. Mass will follow the Rosary. Burial will take place at 1:00pm on January 12, 2023 at the Springerville Cemetery in Springerville, Arizona.
