Bonnie Martin

Bonnie passed peacefully just before dawn on October 7.  Born in
Needham, MA she learned to build houses with her father as a young
woman and worked as a carpenter for the rest of her life.  In 1983 she
moved to a farm in northern Vermont where she raised sheep and kept
the old farm equipment in running order.  She retired in 2003 and came
to the Land of Enchantment to hike and explore the many public lands
though she continued to build several houses, donate her skills to
the Baldwin Cabin Public Library, and help many friends and neighbors
with various projects.  She was always happiest outdoors.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Martin of Upton, MA and her
companion of 47 years, Sally Taliaferro.
