Bobbie J. Felty, 93, passed away after a short illness. 

Bobbie was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Darrell W. Felty. She was a graduate of Albuquerque High School and remained in the area. She moved to Alamogordo, New Mexico, where she worked for the Civil Service at Holloman Air Force Base, which is where she met Darrell. Bobbie and Darrell both loved camping and were always planning their next adventure, traveling many times with the Siglo de Oro RV Club. They enjoyed several cruises, including Alaska, the Caribbean and Panama Canal. Bobbie had a wonderful sense of humor and had a great joke ready for anyone she met. Throughout Bobbie and Darrell’s life together they enjoyed making friends wherever they traveled. Bobbie and Darrell’s faith was a central part of their lives, and both were very involved in the Christ United Methodist Church in Albuquerque. Bobbie was also preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Burgin, her mother, Vivian Burgin, her sister, Billye Rose, and her brother, Edward Burgin. She is survived by her son, Gary Shepperd (Barb), and her daughter, Debra Orechwa (Wayne). She has four grown grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Bobbie’s outlook was inspirational because she saw the silver lining in every cloud.
