Funeral Services for Brian “Bud” Barney 32, will be 9:30 AM Saturday August 7, 2010 at Cope Memorial Chapel in Gallup, New Mexico. The Rev Dennis Gardner Officiate. Burial will be in the Gallup City Cemetery. Barney died July 31, 2010 in Twin Lakes, New Mexico He was born July 9, 1978 in Gallup., into the Edge Water People clan for the Salt Water People clan. Barney worked as a cement laborer and construction worker at various sites. He attended school in elementary years in Twin Lakes, Middle school and High School in Tohatchi, New Mexico. Survivors include his parents Donald and Laura Barney of Twin Lakes, New Mexico, Benjamin Barney of Window Rock, Bruce Barney of Twin Lakes, New Mexico and a sister Brenda Barney of Twin Lakes, grandparents Helen Mae James of Twin Lakes, Helen Domingo of Torreon, New Mexico Barney was preceded in death by his grandfathers Frank H. James and Steve Barney and a brother Darrell Dean Jim. Pallbearers will be Irvin Jim, Cyrus Coan, Zane Watchman, Gerald Jim, Ryan Cadman, Shane Begay, Brian Orllie and Terrence Begay.
