C. Harold Buzz Beaty

Harold "Buzz" Beaty, 73 of Flora Vista went home Aug. 21, 2010. He was born August 14, 1937 in Bronte, TX. He married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Belden on Sept. 22, 1956 in Cortez, CO. Buzz was a dedicated member of the Ruins Road Church of Christ. He retired from Northwest Pipeline in 1990 with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his grandson Corey Beaty. He is survived by wife Barbara; daughter Jenny (Glenn) Megale, Son Doug (Jeana) Beaty. Grandchildren Julie (Jamie) Leppert, Travis (Andrea) Beaty, Aaron (fiancé’ Kacie Bodin) Beaty, Jessica Beaty. Great-grandchildren Angie, Maggie, Jamie, Harold, Erin, Kaitlyn, Miranda and twins to come; one brother, Rodney (Leona) Beaty; and sister, Sharon Beaty. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Church of Christ, 201 Ruins Road, in Aztec with John Driggers and Paul Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Aztec Community Cemetery.
