Carl Yazzie

Funeral services for Carl Ryan Yazzie, 25, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, at Presbyterian Del Muerto Church. The Rev. Constance McIntosh will officiate. Burial will be in Del Muerto Cemetery. Yazzie died Sept. 25, 2010, in Chinle. He was born June 23, 1985, in Chinle, into the Coyote Pass People Clan for the Red Bottom People Clan. Yazzie graduated from Job Corps of Montana and worked at Master Tech as a carpenter. Survivors include his son, Tyreke Yazzie; parents, Virgil and Carol Yazzie; brothers, Carlos Yazzie; sisters, Cheryl Bochinclonny, Lena Fambrough, Virgie Yazzie, Leslie Yazzie; grandfather, Rudy Nez. Yazzie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Thompson; brother, Carlton Yazzie. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Davis, Edward George III, Edward Joe, Kevin Bedonie, Gerald Deshee, Kedrick. The family will receive relatives and friends at Cheryl Bochinclonny’s residence, following services. The family will meet 6 p.m., tonight, Sept. 29, at Cheryl Bochinclonny’s.
