Carol N. Baldwin, 90 of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, April 1 2024 at Rust Presbyterian Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 16 2024 at Citizen Church Albuquerque NM. Burial will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery Santa Fe, NM at a later date.

Carol was born on November 10 1933 to James and Ethel (Burton) Sanders in San Angelo, Texas, and was raised in Menard Texas. Carol attended the University of New Mexico. Carol married Harry Baldwin on May 30, 1954, in Santa Fe, NM. She was a secretary at Mountain Bell before she became a stay-at-home mom after having children.  Carol served on several non-profit organizations and boards.  She loved to cook and would use her family for guinea pigs on her new recipes. Carol was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her children, Brian Baldwin and wife Joann of Albuquerque, NM, Jayne Gunckel and husband Bruce of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Chris Baldwin and wife Lindsey of Albuquerque, NM, Erin Maycumber and husband Marc of Cedar Park TX, Amy Brenneman of Albuquerque, great-grandchildren, Lux Baldwin, Nova Baldwin, Ryder Maycumber, Kinley Maycumber, sister Jimme Gail Landers of San Antonio Texas, nieces, Vivian Landers of Mason Texas, Kappy Landers of San Antonio Texas, and Carol Marie Landers of Mason Texas. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, her son Jeff, and daughter, Melissa, and her brother-in-law Fritz Landers.
