Carol Marie Rossi

Carol Rossi died on December 5, 2021 in her home in Rio Rancho, NM. Carol was born on November 23, 1944, to Anthony and Marian (Patella) Colella in Auburn, NY. She married David Rossi, on January 28, 1967, in Auburn, NY. They were married for over 54 years. Her parents, Anthony and Marian Colella, both preceded her in death.

Carol is survived by: her husband, David Rossi, of Rio Rancho, NM, her two daughters: Michele Belsan and her husband, Peter, of Surprise AZ and Melissa Rossi of Rio Rancho, NM, her son: Steven Rossi of Sarasota, FL, her six grandchildren: Megan Rossi of Austin, TX, Raquel Rossi of Rio Rancho, Isabella and Brandon Madrid of Rio Rancho, Mikaella, Thomas and Allison Belsan of Surprise, AZ, and her great granddaughter, Aliah Madrid of Rio Rancho. Her surviving siblings are her brothers: Michael Colella, Anthony Colella and his wife Dolores, and her sister, Angela Colella as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless wonderful friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.

Carol worked for the City of Rio Rancho Police Department for 17 years. Her special hobbies were her porcelain dolls (for which she won a blue ribbon at the NM state Fair) and cake decorating.

In Lieu of services, she will be accompanied by her family to the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
