Carol Jane Scussel

Carol Jane Scussel (nee Caspano) passed away peacefully on July 20 2023. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 25, 1947 to Samuel and Ann Caspano who preceded her in death. She attended Business School and married Edward Scussel in June of 1969. Together they relocated to New Mexico in 1971. She worked for the Bureau of Land Management as a Land law Examiner and the Forest Service for several years. Carol’s passions were her family, and travelling internationally to research her ancestry. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward; children, Samantha (Kirk) and David (Sarah); sister, Sandy Caspano; and grandchildren, August, Elizabeth, Mackenzie and Paisley who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on July 31, 2023 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church (7701 Candelaria Rd., Albuquerque, NM. 87110), followed by a Burial Service at Sunset Memorial (924 Menaul Blvd.).
