Carolyn M. Cantley

Carolyn M. (Wells) (Bennett) Cantley, 53, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011. Born October 21, 1957, in Defiance, OH, she was the daughter of the late Donald and MaryAnn (Froelich) Wells. She was welcomed into life by and survived by her siblings: Barbara Meek (Imperial Beach, CA); Connie Stone (Defiance, OH); Karen Wells (Albuquerque, NM); Thomas Wells (Saginaw, MI); her twin sister Marilyn Brown (Defiance, OH); and Danny Wells (West Valley City, UT). She is also survived by her two children; Greg Bennett of Bakersfield, CA and Jenni Bennett of Fort Wayne, IN. On July 4, 2002 Carolyn married Tery Cantley, who preceded her in death. Along with her husband Tery, they owned and operated Cantley Construction. She enjoyed her many years of interacting with her colleagues and students of The University of New Mexico. She also enjoyed time spent with her family and traveling through the mountains of New Mexico. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Carlisle Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Carlisle Chapel. Cremation will follow.
