Carolyn L. Waldschmidt

Carolyn L. Waldschmidt passed away on July 30, 2021 in Rio Rancho, NM at the age of 88.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, John Waldschmidt, James Waldschmidt, Davis Waldschmidt; daughters, Kathy Ulibarri, Cyndy Scales, Sheryl Katcher, Rosemary Porttieus; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo A. Waldschmidt.

Carolyn was born on October 30, 1932 in Goodland, Kansas to Roy and Ruth Gard.

Carolyn, a loving mother, lived her life chasing after God’s heart. She was kind and humble in spirit, always giving a listening ear. She emitted God’s love and was quick to share the Lord with all. Her faith has created a legacy that will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren bringing glory to God.

A visitation will take place from 10-11:00 am with a funeral mass to follow on August 3, 2021 at Daniels Southern Chapel – 2400 Southern Blvd SE 87124. An Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 12:30pm.
