Catherine Mary Langley

Catherine Mary Langley, age 69, passed away May 2, 2020 in Rio Rancho, NM.  She was born to John Tress Thomas and Patricia Jean Crawford on November 26, 1950 in Allegheny County Sewickley Borough, State of Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque, NM, May 24, 1968.  She married the love of her life, Robert Langley on December 18, 1971.  They were married 18 years at the time of his passing on August 26, 1989.  Catherine retired from the United States Postal Service in 2017 after 32 years of service as a Rural Carrier.  She loved the outdoors.  She played softball for many years, loved playing pool, and NASCAR.  She was a Charter Member of the Moose Lodge # 2447-2217 WOTM.  She donated to Mooseheart and Moosehaven regularly.   

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Langley; and her father, John TressThomas.

Catherine is survived by her children, Jacob Langley of Rio Rancho, NM, Troy Langley of Rio Rancho, NM and Mary Langley of Los Lunas, NM; mother,  Patricia Weidner Thomas of Rio Rancho; brother, Ray Thomas of Bosque Farms; sister, Rita Thomas of Albuquerque, NM, brother, Thomas Thomas of Rio Rancho, NM, sister, Joanne Thomas of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Hope Catherine Langley, Cody Walker Askew, Vivian and Miriah.
