Cecilia Baca

Age 99 passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She was born in Magdalena, NM to Martiniano and Amalia Chavez.

After graduating high school, she and her sisters went to Washington, D.C. to work during World War II. Cecelia worked at various places during her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom Baca, sons Thomas and Ron Baca; parents Martiniano and Amalia Chavez; siblings Margaret, Rita, Julia, Elena, and Martin.

Cecelia is survived by her children Marcella Baca, Laura Sanchez and husband Matt, Rita Baca; grandchildren Jacob and wife Bernadette Sanchez, Erlinda Sanchez, James Baca, Sergio Baca; one great grandchild Sergio Baca, Jr.

The family wishes to thank friends, neighbors, and Compassus for their support, special visits, and prayers.

A private family service will be held.
