Cecilia A Montoya

Cecelia A. (Nana) Montoya, 88, died Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Albuquerque, NM. Born November 14, 1936, in Sabinal, NM, to Thomas and Francisquita Baca. Cecilia attended Magdalena Schools and graduated in 1955.

She was married to Christobal Montoya on June 24, 1956 and was married for 69yrs. Cecilia was a church member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. She was employed at Wells Fargo Bank, and enjoyed sewing and loved traveling and going to the casino.

Cecilia is survived by her husband: Christobal Montoya; children, Son: Tommy (Sandra) Montoya; Son: David (Neva) Montoya; Daughter: Loretta (Don) Montoya Hargis; Daughter: Diana (Jake) Gutierrez and her 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her Parents: Thomas and Francisquita Baca; Brothers: Jerry and Frankie Armijo; Sisters: Bonnie Hood and Marcy Sanchez and Grandson: Travis Rael; Granddaughter: Misty Rael. 

She will be surely missed by all her friends and family who had the pleasure of knowing her and the love she shared and will continue to live on in our memories forever.
