Cecilia E. Parson

Cecilia E Parson, 77, gained her angel wings and went to her eternal home on November 18, 2021. She was born November 16, 1944 in Las Vegas, NM – one of 12 children born to Candido and Adelina Aragon. Cecilia was a homemaker of many talents and a loving mom of 5 children. She married the love of her life Gilbert on October 16, 1963. She was always the mother figure many people needed. Cecilia was the person everyone went to for life advice and she always shared her love and showed others how to care and love for family. She had the biggest heart filled with love to share with those who needed love the most. She cherished being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend.

 

Cecilia is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister, husband Gilbert Parson and daughter Adelina Parson. She is survived by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was always so proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all she had in her life. She was always up for a party, especially when it came to her children and grandchildren. Cecilia was always so happy and ready to have some fun. Her smile, infectious laugh and loving heart will be deeply missed by many.

 

Family and friends of Cecilia are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held at St. Edwin Catholic Church 2105 Barcelona Rd SW. on Wednesday December 1st, beginning with a viewing at 9 am, with rosary and funeral mass to follow. A graveside service will be held immediately after.

 

On behalf of the family, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for all the support during this difficult time. It is hard to imagine how different life is going to be for us, but we are thankful we have the support of treasured family and friends like you. Thank you all.
