Chavez, Charles "Carlo" R 
Age 64, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 in Socorro, NM surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Socorro, NM on December 17, 1953, to Daniel and Semodosea Lucero Chavez. Carlo was a lifelong resident of Socorro and worked for New Mexico Tech as a machinist for the past 34 years. He was a devoted family man and loved music. Carlo was a professional musician for the past 35 years, but mostly recognized through the band Remedy. He mentored a lot of kids who were interested in music. He loved collecting and selling guitars and riding his Harley. He enjoyed watching sports and playing baseball. Carlo will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leona Chavez; and his parents.  Carlo is survived by his loving wife, Anna Chavez, his loving daughter, Lesley Chavez and son-in-law, Edwin Chavez; his grandchildren, Andrew Chavez, Shaylee Chavez-Moore and Dominic Scarletto; his brothers and sisters, Lydia Chavez, Cecelia Chavez, Rudy Chavez, Gilbert Chavez, Patricia Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Ernie Dominguez, Vince Dominguez, Dawn Peralta, Linda Peralta and Andrea Peralta.
