Age 68, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 after a long illness. He was born in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Highland High School. Charles was a retired veteran having served 20 years in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by brother, Anthony Cooper; father, Charles H. Cooper; grandfather, Antonio Gonzales; grandmother, Concepcion Gonzales. He is survived by mother, Sophie Hodges; Sister, Donna Brew; brother in-law, Chris Brew; son, Charles Cooper; daughter in-law, Eva Cooper; grandson, Joshua Cooper; granddaughter, Brianna (Devin) Cooper; son, Christopher Cooper; daughter in-law, Cecilia Cooper; grandson, Christopher (Storm) Cooper; grandson, Gabriel Cooper; uncle, Ramon Gonzales; aunt, Ernestine Gonzales and numerous cousins. Rosary will be held February 27, 2015 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE followed by Mass at 10:30 am.
