Age 64, of Rio Rancho, NM, beloved husband and cherished father, died on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Chuck was born on April 8, 1948 to John and Hazel (Ridgeway) Minor in Newton, IA. Chuck owned a CPA firm in Albuquerque for over 15 years. He was involved in politics in Iowa and New Mexico where he assisted candidates with their campaigns. His friends and family will always remember Chuck as a loyal Hawkeye fan. He loved animals and music. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Minor. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Clare Minor; his daughter Theresa Greeno and husband Chris and granddaughter Amelia Willey of Rio Rancho; his sister Patricia Minor of Altoona, IA; his sisters-in-law Kathy Cordova and husband Jose, and Peggy Fountaine and husband Dennis; his mother-in-law, Virginia Denisen; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Village at Alameda, 8810 Horizon Blvd., Albuquerque, 87113. The family of Chuck Minor would like to see that his work towards and dream of a dog park for the Village at Alameda be realized. He was just working on the plans the day before he died. He wanted to see this little area be available for all the residents that have their best companions living with them at the Assisted Living. The project involves a dog run, seats for residents to sit on while watching their dogs and a clean up station. Please send contributions to either:
