Charles E. Moore

MOORE-Charles E. Moore, Jr., 65, passed away on November 20, 2010 following an almost year long fight against oral and stomach cancer. He was born March 12, 1945 in Ozona, Texas to Mary Ella (Corbell) and Charles E. Moore Sr. Charles is survived by his children Scott Moore (and wife Vicki) of Albuquerque, NM and Lisa (Moore) Singer (and husband Joel) of West Chester, Ohio and his grandchildren Samantha, Amanda, Jessica and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his parents. An E4 Specialist in the U.S. Army, Charles was a Vietnam Veteran who served overseas in both Vietnam and Germany. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque for both his teenage and then again for his later years living in Texas between and was working for the New Mexico Bureau of Motor Vehicles when diagnosed. Memorial and Visitation will be held Monday, November 29, 2010, from 4 PM to 7pm, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel (505) 821-0010. Private Interment will be at the National Cemetery, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
