Charles (Chuck) Quinn

QUINN - Charles (Chuck) Quinn, 82, of Albuquerque died on July 22, 2010. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on April 23, 1928. After graduating from Dickinson College, he joined the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War, followed by a career at the Department of Energy in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Therese (Terry); son, Michael; daughter, Bridget; son-in-law, Stuart Cataldo; grandchildren, Justin, Aedan, and Catherine Cataldo; sister, Barbara Marciante. He is also survived and loved by stepchildren, Anne Rubin (Jeff), Christine Kamm (Andrew), and David Billing and their children Josh Kamm, Nate Kamm, Alex Rubin and Zach Rubin and many loving nephews and nieces. An avid life-long tennis player, he treasured his regular matches and friendships at the Albuquerque Tennis Club. Other passions included contact with his beloved grandchildren, reading and his daily walk with his dogs. Visitation will be 6 to 7 pm Wednesday, July 28th followed by a Rosary at 7 pm at the Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel at 1100 Coal Avenue SE. A Mass of Celebration is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming NE. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Roadrunner Food Bank, 5840 Office Blvd, Alb.
