Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Chase Frank Nebus-Arviso on August 1st, 2026. Chase was 30 years old and deeply loved by family, friends, and community. Chase was survived by his loving husband of 3 years Sean Nebus-Arviso, parents Calvin and Marcellus Arviso, and brothers Nacoa and Nicholas Arviso, beloved friend Caleb Evans and many other friends. The family deeply thanks Caleb for his grace during Chase's final 72 hours.

Chase was born in Farmington on March 13th, 1996, to Calvin Arviso and Marcellus Bitsui Arviso. Chase graduated from Bloomfield High School, Class of 2014 and graduated with an Associate's of Science in Computer Science from San Juan College in 2017. On September 26th, 2022 he married the love of his life Sean Patrick Nebus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chase was employed for 8 years at Intel Cooperation as a Cross Module Support and WIPCO Technician in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Chase will be remembered for his generosity, work ethic, and sense of humor, as well as his passions in traveling to experience food and live music performances with his husband Sean. They were also passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ and other human rights causes.

A service to honor and celebrate Chase’s life will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, located at 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.

Those who wish to support Chase’s family are invited to share memories and stories or consider making a donation to the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.
