Cheryl Ann Moskowitz, also known by her Jewish name Sarah bat Yaakov, passed away on November 14, 2025, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, at the age of 79. Born on December 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Cheryl was a vibrant soul whose life was marked by love, warmth, and an unyielding spirit.

Cheryl was the cherished daughter of the late Jack and Hellen Miller. She graduated from Erasmus High School, Class of '63, before pursuing her studies in Medical Secretarial Science at New York City College in Brooklyn, where she earned her associate’s degree. Her professional life was dedicated to her work as a Realtor in New Mexico, where she made significant contributions to the community for over 30 years.

She is also survived by her sister, Linda Kroll, residing in Nevada; her son and daughter-in-law, Harris and Rebekah Moskowitz, in New Mexico; her step-daughter Tracy Tsang in Florida; and step-daughter Darcey Rusian and husband Tony in Florida. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Grady and Isabella Moskowitz in New Mexico, and Rachel, Ryan, Rebecca, and Emily Tsang.

A woman of many passions, Cheryl loved knitting and crocheting, working on endless puzzles, and enjoying countless games of Rummikub. She treasured the moments spent watching movies with Jeff and embarked on numerous travels and cruises with family, always looking forward to the Sunday dinners that brought everyone together. Cheryl was a long-time member of Temple Albert and Realtors of New Mexico, where her warm demeanor and commitment to connection shone brightly.

Cheryl was the consummate caregiver, embodying strength and kindness in perfect balance. With her dynamite smile, she had the remarkable ability to bring people together, making friends wherever she went. She made a sincere effort to know those around her in a way that made them feel deeply loved and heard.
