CHRISTY LOVE Dr. Christy Love, 39, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on September 20, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born November 29, 1970 in Phoenix, AZ. Christy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mildred Christy, her grandparents George & Lily Love, uncle George Love, Jr. and step-grandfather Roy Owen. Christy is survived by her son, Austin Love of the family home in Scottsdale, AZ, her mother, Bev Owen, her father, Lyle Love, Sr., her brother Lyle Love, Jr., her grandparents George and Bea Christy, her step-father, Bunky Owen and step-grandmother, Donella Owen. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dr. Love received a BS in Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and an MA and PsyD from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Love was very passionate about the Psychology profession. It was not just a job for her, it was who she was. She had an insatiable desire to teach people how to solve their own problems so they could deal with the everyday conflicts of living life. A funeral service to celebrate Christy’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2010, at the Cross Roads Community Church, 2600 N. Sullivan Ave., Farmington. Pastor Dave West will officiate. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington. Pallbearers are Michael Young, Mitchell Young, Mickey Young, Matt Broten, Mark Owen, Scott Pullen and Gary Eyster. Arrangements are with Cope Memorial Chapel Farmington, 404 W.
