Christine Marie Mantilla

Age 19, our precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece and friend passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 31, 2012. She was born on July 26, 1993 to Willy Mantilla and Kari Colonno Mantilla in Burbank, CA. She graduated from V. Sue Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho, NM and was attending the University of New Mexico where she was studying Mechanical Engineering. She was, also currently employed by T-Mobile. Christine was a very outgoing and caring young lady who loved her family and her friends very much. She was very family oriented and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She enjoyed going to movies reading, collecting rocks, as well as, cooking Peruvian food. Her favorite color was pink and her favorite flower was the carnation. Christine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gary and Deborah Colonno. She is survived by her mother, Kari Mantilla, of Rio Rancho, NM; father, Willy Mantilla of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Juliann Burris and her husband, Matthew, of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Adrian Mantilla, of Rio Rancho, NM; nephew, Lukas Burris, of Albuquerque, NM; grandparents, Lali Pastor and Olmedo Mantilla of Peru; aunt, Lydia Mantilla; uncles, Paul Mantilla and Christian Mantilla; and many loving cousins and friends. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho. Christine, we miss you, we love you, and we will never forget you.
