CLARK- Christopher Thomas Clark, “Papa Bear,” “Clark," 28, who lived and loved fiercely, and will never be forgotten. Our son, father, and friend, Christopher Thomas Clark, was born April 14, 1982 at the Army base in Bremerhaven, Germany to Debbie and Jeff Clark, and passed away peacefully in his sleep September 10, 2010. Christopher served in the Air Force for four years and loved both his country and his freedom. He worked for UPS over the past five years, was very devoted to his work, and made many lasting friends. Christopher had an undeniably quick wit, a talent for story-telling, and the ability to charm the pants off of just about anyone. Although his life aspiration was to someday fight a bear (and not necessarily win), he lived twenty-eight years with this passion displayed in his everyday life. Clark not only rolled with life’s punches, but always seemed to come out the other end with that mischievous smile on his face. Christopher made friends easily and truly never met a stranger. He enjoyed a good beer with friends, a spontaneous trip to the mountains, being absorbed in a good book, song, or conversation, but experienced the most joy when spending time with his little family: the mother of his boy and love of his life, Kendra Lambert, and his much beloved and cherished three-year-old son, Tucker, of whom he was infinitely proud. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Clark; his father, Jeff Clark; his grandparents, Judy Dalton, Tom Clark, and Saudie Clark; his soul mate, Kendra Lambert; and his son, Tucker Lambert-Clark. Christopher also leaves behind countless family members and friends whose lives have been unalterably changed for having known him. Clark, we love and miss you sorely. Your passing has brought this town to its knees. You will never be replaced. We forever carry you in our hearts. Good night, our sweet prince. A Celebration of Christopher’s life will be held Wednesday, September 15, beginning with a viewing at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE from 3:00 pm -5:00 pm, followed by a short service and military honors. Friends and family are invited afterward to share their memories, raise a glass, and have a bite at a location to be announced at the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tucker Lambert-Clark savings account at Kirtland Federal Credit Union to aid in Tucker’s education.
