Clara Overton

OVERTON- Clara Overton, 89, passed away on January 5, 2010. She was born November 17, 1920 in Amarillo, Texas to James and Effie Dodson. Clara married Charles G. Overton October 4, 1941. They had three children. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She graduated from Masonic Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse on October 14, 1942. Clara loved helping people. She is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Charles G. Overton Jr. in March of 1998. Clara is survived by sons, George and his wife Rita Marie Overton, of Albuquerque, Kenneth and his wife Faye Overton, of Los Banos, CA; daughter, Shirley Thomas , of Denver, CO; grandchildren, John and his wife Melody Overton, Sharon and her husband Antoine Barber, Kim Overton, Ann and her husband Wes Cooley, Lareen and her husband Ed Rudnick, Tammy Thomas, Shanie Thomas, K'Leen Thomas, David and his wife Crystal Fujihara, Phillip and his wife Jessica Fujihara, Joseph Fujihara; great grandchildren, Casey Overton, Kristen Overton, Trevan Cooley, Cobin Cooley, Tanaya Cooley, Savanna Rudnick, Pierce Rudnick, Veronica Fujihara, Arianna Fujihara.
