Constance Gwenelle Johnson

Obituary for Constance Gwenelle Ellison Johnson, Constance (Coni) Gwenelle Johnson went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Coni was born on January 30, 1932 in Gant, Alabama. She moved to Oxnard California as a young girl and where she met her husband to be. She leaves her husband of 54 years, Martin Leroy Johnson of Flora Vista, and her sons Marty Johnson and his wife Teresa of Aztec, Mark Johnson and his wife Pat of Elko Nevada, and Kelly Johnson and his wife Debbie of Hinton Oklahoma, her mother Ruby Bergstresser and sister Mari Roll of Des Moines, Washington, and sister Jennifer Crispen of Thousand Oaks, California. She is preceded in death by her father Edward Bergstresser. She will be greatly missed by her eight grand children and seven great grand children, and dozens of foster children. �?£�?�?��?�?� Coni had a passion for children and opened her home to numerous children from broken families. She and Leroy were foster parents for almost two decades and cared for many outside of foster care. For years she taught children’s Sunday School and helped with Vacation Bible School.
