Consuelo Rosa Lujan

Consuelo Rosa Lujan, known affectionately as Connie, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was born on March 3, 1935, to Tomas C De Baca and Lucinda Armijo. Connie lived a life rich in faith and community, deeply involved in the Rosary Makers at St. Thomas Aquinas, where she found joy in fellowship and service.

Connie is survived by her siblings, Esther Sanchez, Josie Sandoval, Max DeBaca, and Lucinda Peck. She leaves behind her loving sons, Larry (Jacalyn) Lujan and Tom (Louise) Lujan. Connie was a cherished grandmother to Jennifer, Lucas, Caitlin, and Sarah, and was proud to be a great-grandmother to Ethan, Claire, Tye, and Casey.

Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and special thanks are extended to Jacalyn Lujan, Doris White, and Sue Peck for their unwavering support and love for Connie throughout the years.

Connie will be remembered for her spirit, her culinary talents, and her dedication to her community. She leaves an enduring legacy of love and faith that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

Services celebrating her life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. A rosary will take place on June 18, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 10:30 AM and concluding at 11:30 AM.  Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 5310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
