Corina Carmen Parraz

Corina C. Parraz, aka Corine C. Fox (Ortega), 78, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM for over 30 years died one day shy of her 79^th birthday on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Sam Parraz, her son, Arthur Ortega, wife Amanda Ortega of Bernalillo, NM.  Daughter, Monica Ortega-Melville, husband Brian Melville of Rio Rancho, NM.  Grandchildren: Andy Ortega, Melissa Sedillo, husband Favian Sedillo, Arthur J. Ortega, wife Alisha Ortega, Stephanie Nelson, husband Thomas Nelson, Mathew Ortega, wife Ericka Ortega, Michael Martinez, wife Alexandria Martinez, and Marcus Martinez, wife Isabel Martinez.  Great grandchildren: Lucas, Christian, and Emerie Sedillo, Shonel and Saniah Nelson, Damian and Evyn Martinez, Benjamin and Gilbert Ortega, Jordynn and Jaidynn Ortega, Bentley and Ezriah Martinez, and Ignacio, Dante, and Alyvia.  Mother-in-law, Felisita Parraz, Brother-in-law: Epi Parraz and wife Lena, Ricky Parraz and wife Leslie and Edward Parraz and wife Nancy.  Daughter in laws and son in law Cassandra Ramirez, Trisha Parraz, and Erik Parraz, grandkids: Donovan, Ozzillie, Elan, Camilla, Jeremy, and Cory, great grandkids: Camilla Rae, Cairo, Ameeliya, Aliyah, Julius, and King. 

She was a long-time bank employee and then later worked as a Patient Care Representative for Presbyterian Hospital and finalizing her work life with Ortega Wellness.  She had many loving family and friends not listed here and were special to her that she loved and cherished.  She will be greatly missed but she leaves a legacy with her family to continue her passion for life.  She loved to be outside working in her backyard if she wasn’t shopping or working. She loved to dance and be with her family.  She made each and every person she met feel special and important.  She graced us with her presence and her memory will live on through those she touched. 

Services will be Friday, August 4, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 in which she was a member and participated in the choir for many years.  Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Inurnment will immediately follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, for her final resting place.
