Corina Carmelita Sorrow

Corina “Cora” Carmelita Sorrow, age 81, passed away peacefully January 20, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on July 21, 1940, to Ramon and Josefita Sandoval in Cuba, NM.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Sandoval Jr., and stepfather, Ben Gurule.

 

She is survived by her: sons, Kavin (Eileen) Sorrow of Cuba, NM, Ron Jay (Judy) Sorrow of Cuba, NM, and son, Wayland Sorrow of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Henry (Betty) Sandoval of Cuba, NM; sister, Leora (Bob) Davis of Farmington, NM; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

 

Corina graduated from Cuba High School in 1958. She loved working and had always been involved with community activities. She also loved party planning.

 

Corina was loved by so many, especially by her family and friends. She was a very loving and generous person, and enjoyed helping people in need. She also loved to spoil her grandchildren every chance she could get. Corina will be deeply missed.

 

A Visitation Service will take place on February 7, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, located at 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Her Funeral Services will take place in Cuba, NM, at a later date.
