Corinne Kay Sewell - Lambert

Sewell-Lambert, Corinne Kay, age 52, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011. She was born on March 31, 1959 to Dale and Lois Ashcraft Sewell, in Albuquerque, NM. Kay was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and Corrales, New Mexico. She graduated from Cibola High School in 1977 and went on to attend college at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM, graduating in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Sports Medicine. During her college years, she was a member of the Rodeo Team where she won Nationals multiple times. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale L. Sewell. She is survived by her husband, Mark Shane Lambert of Corrales, NM; mother, Lois Sewell-Hatley of Corrales, NM; brother, Pat Sewell and wife Patricia of Rio Rancho, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm, Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Heights Christian Church, 6935 Comanche Road NE, (take the Louisiana exit north off of I-40) Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Kay's honor to the Rodeo Cowboy Alumni Scholarship Fund, c/o Steven Harrington, P.O. Box 574, Estancia, NM 87016, or the charity of your choice.
