Fowler, Craig Age 58, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. Craig was born August 17, 1954 to Sammie E. Fowler and Bennie M. Young. Craig was the youngest son of four children. Craig dedicated his life to Jesus Christ at an early age of about twelve with Waterloo Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. Continued serving as a chair member at Church of God and Christ in Flagstaff, AZ. He grew in ministry serving as a Deacon at True Vine Baptist Church in Albuquerque, NM. He was called to teach temporarily at United Methodist Church in Albuquerque. Craig was called to be mentored by Reverend Dr. Ronald Knight of St. Luke Baptist Church where he took the mantle left by Pastor Knight to Pastor St. Luke Baptist Church for the last two years. Craig faithfully served Wings Prison Ministry, Eagles Unlimited Prison Ministry, Progressive Baptist Convention, ACLC, NAACP-Administrative Assistant, Masters Degree at WIRE, Inc. and Ministers Fellowship and Baptist Ministers Union. Craig was preceded in death by both parents. Leaves to cherish his memory is his wife Alicia Fowler in Albuquerque, NM. Four daughters and a son. Sister Terri A. Fowler of Temple, TX and sister Deborah L. Fowler Lynch in Albuquerque, NM. Three grandchildren, five nephews, one niece, three great nephews, four great nieces and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends in several states. A service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, 11:00 am, at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1201 Arno Street SE, Albuquerque.
