Curley C. Griffin

GRIFFIN- Curley C. Griffin passed this life on September 4, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. Curley Griffin was born May 2, 1935 to Chappie and Rosie Lee Griffin. Curley Griffin moved to Albuquerque in 1971, he married Maria Luisa Corona in 1988. Curley Griffin started his preaching ministry in 1959 in Church of Christ in Easton, Texas. After moving to Albuquerque he continued preaching in and around New Mexico. His preaching would often carry him out of the city. Mr. Griffin leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Maria Luisa Griffin of the family hone, three sons, Paul Anthony and wife, Desiree, Shem Junior and wife, Vicnasia and Nathan Eugene and wife, Lillian; six daughters, Curley Marie Phillips Hall, Mary Lee and husband Sylvester Williams, Dorothy Jean Griffin Wilson, Margaret Ann Griffin, Linda Naomi Patterson, and Curlette Daniella and husband, Isaac Velarde; brothers, sisters a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am at Mountainside Church of Christ, 12300 Indian School Rd. NE, burial to follow at Pajarito Cemetery.
