David Edgar Beatty

David E. Beatty died Sunday October 22, in his home in Socorro, NM. Born in Brookings, SD on October 11, 1945. David attended local schools and South Dakota State University, as a Bio-Engineering student. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1965 to 1972. David was an inspired electronics technician and worked for several government contractors to include MIT Lincoln Labs, Sandia National Labs, Los Alamos National Labs and KTECH.

Married 43 years to his wife Jody who survives him along with daughter Jolinda Chavez and 4 grandchildren Talia, Desarae, Trinity, and Michael. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nicole Beatty.

Memorial service to be held Monday November 6, at 1:00 pm at Socorro Chapter 24 DAV.
