David I. Boone

BOONE- David I. Boone, age 72, of Albuquerque, formerly of Springfield, Illinois, passed away on March 12, 2010. He is survived by his companion of twenty years, Lilias “Sam” Ralph, sons, Judd and wife Ingrid and Evan and wife Jennifer Boone and grandchildren, Anna, Casey and Grace. Dave loved the Southwest, moving from Illinois after graduating from Lincoln College in the early sixties to manage and develop family land. He went on to work in real estate and eventually went into business with Sam manufacturing and selling a successful line of products under the name Gripit Plus, Inc. Dave was an avid and skilled golfer and fisherman. He loved all sports but especially enjoyed car racing, travelling to most Indy and NASCAR races in the country. He also loved U.S. history and travelled extensively, spending time in almost every state. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Daniels Family Funeral Service, Wyoming Chapel.
