David G. Chavez

CHAVEZ, David G., 68, of Blanco, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on November 5, 2009 at his home with his loved ones by his side. He was born in Miami, Arizona, on September 17, 1941 to Rafael and Consuelo Chavez. David worked as a government inspector at Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, Utah. After retirement, David returned home to Blanco where he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He never passed up a chance to help out or visit with them. His favorite past times included hunting, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred Chavez. David is survived by his loving wife, Ramona; son Mark G. Chavez and wife Margaret; daughter, Lori Florez and husband Carlos; six grandchildren, Heather, Cassandra and Micah Chavez, Leanna, Alissa and Joshua Florez; siblings, Leandro (Joe) Chavez and wife Thelma, Edward Chavez and wife Myrna, Del Freda Chavez, Steve Chavez and wife Lillian. Pallbearers are: Anthony Chavez, Jared Chavez, Mitch Chavez, Jacob Chavez, Steve Florez and Frank Florez. Arrangements are entrusted to:
