David Kirk Sr.

Kirk died April 24, 2010, in Winslow. He was born Oct. 30, 1934, in Ganado, into the Water Edge People Clan for the One Who Walks Around People Clan. Kirk attended Ganado Mission School. He was retired from PHS/Office of Environmental Health. He was an ordained minister and member of Ganado Presbyterian Church. He attended comp meetings throughout the Navajo land. Kirk loved to be with his grandchildren. Survivors include his sons, David Kirk Jr., Dennis Kirk; daughters, Carolene Kirk, Cheryl Flores; brother, Edison Kirk; 11 grandchildren. Kirk was preceded in death by Carole Kirk, Josephine Kirk, Alvin Kirk, Bill Kirk, Katherine Keeto, Bertha Scott. Pallbearers will be Matthew Kirk, Gabriel Kirk, Tyler Kirk, Brandon Nelson, Aaron Brown, Bob Lowe, Manuel Chaea, Chris Lano, Wilfred Keeto, Roy Keeto, Walter Watson, William Lowe, Michael Flores Jr. Arrangements are entrusted to: Tse Bonito Mortuary 16 Alma dr.
