David Allen Roberts

David Allen "Pancake" Roberts, 62, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, in Farmington. He was born August 25, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, to Lewis and Loretta Fivecoats Roberts, and raised in Carlsbad. He worked in the oilfield in the Four Corners area for 40 years. He loved his animals and the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Roberts; his son, Kenneth Roberts of Florida; daughter, Michelle Roberts, Delayene Roberts, both of Texas; son, David L. Roberts, of Bloomfield; stepchildren, Wendy Hopkins, and Ronald Simpson of Arkansas; sisters. Diane Shindler of Bloomfield; 19 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. It was his wish that there should be no services.
