David Anthony Vigil

Vigil, David Anthony Age 5, precious gift of God was gently embraced by the Lord&&s angels and taken to his heavenly home, Wednesday, October 24, 2012, while surrounded by his loving family. David fought a courageous battle with cancer for nine days. David was a resident of Ribera, NM. At the young age of five, David already knew what he wanted in this life, he was going to grow up to be a fire fighter to save people. He loved the family fishing trips, Star Wars, horses, and his favorite color was blue. David is survived by his loving parents, Alias and Patricia Vigil; his playmates (sisters), Cassandra, Alisa Vigil and Maryanna Garcia; paternal grandparents, Marcella and Troy Aguilar, Steve and Rosann Vigil; maternal grandparents, John Glenn and Susie Roybal; and other numerous relatives. David will be greatly missed by his family and by those whose hearts he touched.A Rosary will be recited Monday, November 5, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Las Vegas, NM; where the Mass of Angels will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in Ribera, NM.
