Delbert Reeves Taylor

Delbert R. Taylor, 73, of Farmington, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 in Farmington. He was born December 3, 1937 in Jal, NM to W. H. and Pauline Taylor. Delbert earned an Honorable Discharge from the US Navy, serving from 1955 to 1961. He worked as a pipefitter/welder through Local Union 412, and was a member of Union 412 for 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandkids. Delbert and Ramona have attended Emmanuel Baptist Church together since 1976 where the two have made numerous friends. Delbert has touched many people throughout his life with his sense of humor, quick wits and generosity. He will be greatly missed. Delbert and wife Ramona, passed away the same day, and he was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Bill Taylor and a sister Terri Templeton. He is survived by stepsons Dwayne (Heather), Dylan and Ethan Faverino; daughters Amanda Taylor (Derek Hembree), Teresa (Mark), Brittany Boyd Johnson and step daughters, Mariann (Bill) Tawny, Sami Armenta, a brother Jack Taylor a sister Della Laman and five grandchildren.
