Della Armenta

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Della Armenta, 74, of Bloomfield, passed away at the family home on Wednesday, May, 6, 2009 of natural causes. Della was born in Gobernador, NM, on Jan. 31, 1935. She attended Aztec High School. Her hobbies were playing the guitar, gardening, walking her dog (Tiny), reading and being with family. Della was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Armenta; daughter, Myrene Armenta; parents, Emilio and Rafelita Garcia; brothers, Pres Garcia, Junior Garcia and Marvin Garcia. She is survived by her son, Roy (Susan), Bengie (Bea), Jake (Liz), James (Pattie), Phil (Lisa) and Rodney (Eva); daughters, Bernice (Al), Bernadette (George), Donna (Pamela); and a special daughter Monica; sisters, Angeline, Inez, Viola, Nieves, Dora, Pat, Connie; brothers, Melvin and Andy; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Keith Armenta, Jeramy Candelaria, Elias Armenta, Alex Valdez, Donovan Florez, Jacob Seitzinger.
