Della Benavidez

Della Benavidez, 76, passed away on July 30, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  A Memorial Service will be held on August 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 309 Garfield Socorro, New Mexico.  

Della was born on August 6, 1944, to Fred Casillas and Guadalupe Salinas. She married Benny Benavidez in Farwell, Texas on June 11, 1974. Della loved to go to the Casino and Bingo. She also really enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift stores.

Survivors include her husband; Benny Benavidez, her three sons; Joe Lopez (Roxanne), Freddie Benavidez (Denise), and Johnny Valencia (Regina), her daughter; Sharon Benavidez, her siblings; George Gutierrez (Lydia), Elma Dominguez (Javier), and Alma Lewallen (James), 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Della is preceded in death by her parents; Fred Casillas and Guadalupe Salinas, and her sisters; Connie Rodriguez, Lupe Nunoz, Nora Saenz, and Mary Salinas.
