Denice Hartman Smith

Denice was born May 8,1952, In Hereford, TX to George and Virginia Hartman. She passed away on 04/10/2026 in Albuquerque, NM following a car accident. Denice grew up in Hereford and then Albuquerque, NM where she attended Highland High School, and UNM. She was the proud mother of Wade Smith of Innsbrook, Austria, and Austin Smith of Albuquerque. She was the devoted "OMA" of Mason Smith and Heidi Smith of Innsbrook. Denice worked as a Para Legal in Dallas and retired from Jackson Walker Law Firm after 30 years of employment. She moved back to Albuquerque in 2019 to enjoy her retirement. Denice is survived by her sons and grandchildren as well as her brother, James D Hartman, brother-in-law, Ron Passenti, family members, and friends. Denice was an Organ Donor and was able to share gifts of life with three recipients, as well as contribute to a research study at UNM.
